Can't find a screen and no USB ports are working right after my computer got rebuilt!
I just rebuilt my PC yesterday and now I only have a new cooler installed. It turns on fine, but the monitor shows no picture and all my USB ports stop working too. Sometimes about once in every five tries it powers up and then goes back to sleep right away. I tried removing the CMOS chip and putting it back in, plus moving the RAM stick around. I also tried unplugging the graphics card and plugging a different HDMI cable into the motherboard. My computer is running on Windows 11. The screen is an LG Curved 34 inch ultrawide monitor from Walmart with specs of 3440x1440 pixels.
Look at the pinholes on your processor socket to see if they are bent. Try checking a jumpers setting for reset bios. Make sure every connection is tight again. Set up with only the minimum stuff: just one cpu, cooler, power supply, and one ram stick in slot A2. Also check that keyboard and video cable connect right to the motherboard and your monitor.
