I’m having trouble reaching both tabs to take out my GPU for cleaning—it looks empty. I can’t force it either, should I remove the heatsink? Thanks for suggesting the screwdriver! It worked after using my chin as a chisel Big Grin

They are linked. Use a screwdriver to push one side down.

Both sections work together as a single unit. Just push down on the exposed side of the graphics card to activate it. The second image shows an empty space on your board, correct?

Don't worry about using some pressure on the tab. Pressing it down a bit causes the GPU to pop out slightly.

Don't use a screwdriver! If you slip, you might damage the contacts. Whatever you do, avoid doing this! (You've done it before, I have too, but it's not a good thing to say 😅)

1) Remove the screw close to the GPU input.
2) Use your finger to press the tabs down; the GPU will unlock when they're pushed.
3) Gently pull the card out straight, avoiding any obstruction.
4) Check that your PCI cut-out matches the GPU's input properly, then adjust if needed.
5) Ensure the case's PCI cut-out aligns correctly with the GPU's input before proceeding.
