The title accurately reflects the situation, but disabling Vsync isn’t an option for me. I’ve checked the nvidia control panel, various games, and even used Nvidia Inspector to turn it off, yet it doesn’t work. Although I’m comfortable with 60 fps, it becomes really annoying when running benchmarks. All my games have consistently stuck at 60 fps after switching to a Dell U3011 Monitor (2560x1600). If anyone can assist, it would be greatly appreciated! Also, please let me know if I posted this in the incorrect section—it wasn’t clear where to submit it.

I possess very old cards that I can't locate the V-Sync adjustment in Nvidia Control Panel. Typically, this feature just affects the desktop environment. By default, games take precedence over these settings when they're possible. If you're seeing only 60fps during 3DMark or Unigine tests, consider a fresh driver installation.

Certainly some titles enforce a maximum of 60 frames per second, even when V-sync is turned off.

I think I need to adjust the settings in the Nvidia control panel. If I had a relevant card, that would help.

I removed the drivers using the Display driver uninstaller, but the issue persisted. I also turned off vsync in the NVIDIA control panel, yet it didn’t resolve the problem.

I don't play games, but I can help you find ones to play! What kind of games are you interested in?

Thus, if the default is set to "Allow 3D software to modify settings," the OP's issue can be resolved through a fresh driver installation while using benchmarking tools.

Find the options for adjusting 3D settings at the bottom. The user mentioned the installation is already cleaned.
