Hi there, I see you're having trouble getting your Plex server online on your local network. Let's go through what might be going on. You mentioned testing in different ways—remote access works but is slow, and typing the local IP resolves to a working page on your phone. That suggests the issue could be with your local configuration or network settings rather than the server itself. It sounds like Ubiquiti equipment or firewall rules might be blocking traffic, or perhaps the HexOS settings are interfering. UPnP was tried but didn’t help either. You may want to double-check your firewall rules, ensure the correct port is open (like 32400), and verify that your Plex server is properly configured for remote access. If you need further guidance, feel free to share more details about your network setup.

I'm experiencing the same problem too. Have you discovered a fix yet?

Hello! I faced a similar problem with app.plex.tv and the Apple TV app connecting to the server remotely, resulting in low quality streams. After adjusting router settings, DNS, pi-hole, etc., I discovered the issue was traced back to Plex advertising an incorrect local IP address. To fix it, change your local Plex server settings, enable advanced options, and add the custom URL https://[localip]:[plex port]/ in the "Custom server access URLs" field. Save and restart the docker app, and it should work better with your Plex apps on the network. Also, I followed instructions to allow no-auth connections from local IPs and set secure connections as required, though I wasn't sure if that improved things.
