I know I had a 5th gen i7 with 8 gigs of RAM, but it struggled to run below 20 fps even at the lowest settings.
EDIT: I should correct that—I played Rivals, not Hot Pursuit, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t perform well either.

If you wish to enjoy most games from around 2007 onward, a GPU is necessary. GTX 750 or 750 Ti are typically available at very low prices and require minimal power supply demands.

Typically, the older a game is, the better it runs on an iGPU. If the OP shares their specific expectations for gaming performance, we can adjust our recommendations accordingly.
