Hello. I'm looking for software that can connect to my PC's sound system and show the waveform of the audio being played. I want to be able to adjust the input device and observe the sound process from start to finish. You mentioned you already have a hardware CRO that handles that part well. Thanks for your help.

No, not spectrum analyser. Waveform display. So Oscilloscope.
