I attempted this. The game only works on the desktop, not in the headset. I could access the desktop inside the headset and see beatsaber open, but couldn't interact—it acts like a mouse for VR headsets. Would prefer lower resolution and slower performance. Headsets are quite slow.

It's worth considering adjusting the VR settings to get the best performance possible. Optimizing the IGPU can significantly boost speed. For a cost-effective approach, adding a separate GPU like a 3060 could help, though it depends on your budget. If you're on a tighter budget, a 1650 or 1660 should suffice for basic VR experiences.

Even though the issues appear to be mismatched input/output devices, consider adjusting their alignment. It might resolve the problem. Let me know if you need further assistance.

You're wondering if it's feasible to run games through an IGPU on your setup, which includes a VGA and HDMI port connected to your monitor and headset. Despite using the same hardware, you're finding that games don't render properly on the headset. It seems unusual since both devices use the same GPU driver. You're also curious whether this is even possible without a dedicated NVIDIA or AMD card.

It's unclear if it's feasible, but on several boards you need to turn on multi-display in the BIOS before using multiple outputs. Have you tried or attempted this?

I've confirmed it too. I can view the screen inside the VR environment, but the games don't run directly on the headset. They keep looping to the top and display on the desktop instead. It's mostly just a guess if this would be possible.
