Can you use a laptop that has a damaged corner safely?
A small part from the back of my old laptop has broken off. The hinge was loose for a while, and the underside of the hinge snapped. The device still functions properly, but I'm concerned about safety since nothing is exposed—only the corner screw remains. Can we share photos here? Thanks.
Hey there,
It seems it should work.
You can upload an image using imgur and paste the code. That should help us confirm.

Certainly, that's fine. You'd want to avoid any spills inside. Perhaps wrap it with some tape to secure it, though that could be tricky given the hinge. For regular use, it shouldn't pose a problem, but you should stay alert for any signs of further damage.
