Hi there, I’m trying to help with a situation involving my grandma who’s on life support. She’s dealing with power of attorney issues and her life insurance is about to end soon. The only way to access the bill and pay it is through her laptop, which runs either Windows 10 or 11. It’s a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 TL/05 model.

I remember when my dad passed in 2020, I used Utilman to log into his account to check for any notes. I also tried forcing recovery mode on her laptop and opened the command prompt, which told me the drive was encrypted. From what I understand, it’s using a 48-bit BitLocker encryption from Microsoft, which usually comes with a Microsoft account. However, her Microsoft account has an outdated recovery phone number, making it hard to access the key.

I’m really hoping someone can help me figure out how to get this resolved quickly, as her insurance expires in just a week and we need the payment urgently. She was quite private about her personal details, so finding the right solution is important.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.

Sorry, but we are unable to help with bypassing passwords or accessing BitLocker.
Even if possible.
End of message.
