Can you try adjusting the CPU and RAM clocks on your Tampa 2? The BIOS instructions aren't very straightforward.
I received the new RAM a few weeks ago and I'm trying to maximize its performance. I checked the BIOS for the Tampa 2 motherboard but didn't find an overclock option. I also have an Omen Command Center, but when I tried to access the overclocking section, it wasn't loading because my Wi-Fi was down. After waiting two days, it just disappeared from the interface.
There is a really good chance that you wont have any overclocking if this "tampa2" is a prebuilt even if you have a Z series chipset.
Overclocking options can be temporarily stopped by Windows or BIOS updates. Even if the Tampa 2 model supports overclocking, it may not be available right now. It’s impossible to be certain about future capabilities until you install an unlocked K-series CPU and perform some tests. What hardware do you own? Have you updated your BIOS? While many prefer updating the BIOS, this can introduce additional issues. On certain motherboards, reverting to an older BIOS version isn’t possible. Functions that were available may vanish unexpectedly. Some Tampa 2 boards only have an x8 PCI-E connection instead of x16, which could restrict your GPU’s peak performance. Use CPU-Z or GPU-Z to check if your GPU is running at x8 or x16. The GPU connector lacks half of the necessary wires, making a fix unfeasible.
