Can you suggest ways to improve the speed of this laptop?

What changes could improve gaming performance on this device? I’m looking for small improvements, not huge upgrades.
This won't greatly enhance gaming performance, but increasing the RAM to 8GB could make the laptop feel more responsive. Upgrading to an SSD is the most effective step you can take.
