I'm looking to upgrade to a skylake motherboard and CPU, but I'm worried about the 6600K. Is there still a chance to overclock the 6500?

Yeah i'm overclocking a i5 6400 to 4GHz on a EVGA z170 stinger using BCLK.
Do you have an older bios or is there a motherboard and cpu combo that I can buy new that will still allow this.
Mmmm i think you're referring to Asrock removing this from their boards during a bios update? I believe my stinger's BIOS is most up to date, and it still allows BCLK overclocking. I can't speak for other manufacturers though, as this is the only skylake build i have.
