Hello everyone
I was wondering what other gaming mice you recommend, keeping in mind they should be ergonomic (recent pain on my right trigger finger is a top priority), large wired models, with a couple of extra buttons, RGB support with at least two lighting zones and solid software. Before I asked this question, I used a Razer Imperator 2012 for quite some time—it had double clicking issues but no major complaints (mostly about the double clicks and the Razer Synapse).
I searched online and narrowed it down to:
logitech G502 HERO wired gaming mouse
razer basilisk v3

I’m open to other brands too, as long as they meet my needs. I’m considering the Razer Basilisk v3 because of its appealing features, though I’m not sure about the Razer Synapse version.
The G502 HERO is a strong choice for extra buttons and comfort, but it feels a bit outdated now. Maybe you could suggest more options or give some advice?
Thanks for reading.

They still produce the 502, I suggest it too.
I own a 702 wireless that I really like, but they no longer manufacture it. Now the right-click button keeps double-clicking.
🙁

I have the 502, what aspects would you like to know?
It's very durable, with no significant issues after a year. The rubberized grips are good for the thumb and pinky. If my thumb doesn't stay straight for a while, it starts to ache, but that's more about me than the mouse.
The only concern is if the software runs slow, then you're stuck with default settings until your 500,000 DPS kicks in in about 20 seconds. I think newer mice have onboard memory to handle that, though that's the only drawback I can think of.

I don't have any real complaints about the G502 except it might be a bit old, but since there are no other suggestions from other brands, I think the G502 HERO wired one would suit me best.
Is this the G502 HERO wired version or the wireless? There seems to be a difference between the two, with the wireless one being different from the other.

Wired doesn't think much about swapping batteries anymore. With a 15ft lead and USB hub already installed, it's enough.

To resolve the double clicking problem, ensure both devices have optical switches. This will help avoid issues and maintain smooth operation.
