You're considering a Ryzen build for next year on a tight budget, pairing it with an Aerocool VX500W and wondering if it will overheat or if you need to upgrade your PSU.

I can confidently state about that particular unit, as there are no reviews from any reputable sites about it. However, considering the quality and the usual outcomes for most Aerocool power supplies that have been examined or simply observed over time, my advice would be to consider a higher-quality power supply even if you don’t overclock, and definitely if you do. Aerocool has had some PSU models that really made an impact, and although their reputation has improved slightly since then, without a concrete review confirming the performance of a specific model, I wouldn’t feel confident enough to recommend one.
