Can't compare them to "DreadOut" since Steam lacks that vibe. For a similar feel, try Fatal Frame (PS2), Siren: Blood Curse (PS3) or The Calling (Wii). Here are some other horror picks on Steam; Alan Wake Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Cry of Fear, Layers of Fear, Outlast SOMA, and Penumbra.
