Isn't it interesting how you describe your situation? You're saying your present setup feels like a heavy burden.

It should function perfectly, a 5070 Ti or RX 9070 XT should comfortably handle most games. I’ve listed my recommendations below; you’ll find plenty of alternatives as well. Consider opting for models like X670E, B650E, X870 or B850 to save on the motherboard cost. Ensure the board you choose supports an onboard BIOS flash feature so you can update it to the latest version without a full build, which helps maintain compatibility with the Ryzen 9000 series.

I'm not near a microcenter. =( I opted for the Gigabyte Windforce OC 5070 Ti for the GPU. Now I just need to get everything else lol.
I've been super impressed with the Lian cases. I got my wife the Dynamix XL a few years back and it's great. I've also been a huge fan of liquid cooling since my wife's computer has never had any issues with temps...except when we don't properly clean the cat hair out of it.
I think I'd like to go with 4TB for storage as I have 2TB already full.
As far as RAM, are there any real differences between vendors? Or is it comparing apples to apples assuming same specs?
When talking cooler, fans, etc I had picked Lian components as folks say its easier to run the software instead of having fans from company X, cooler from company Y, controller from Z ... etc. I've had issues mixing things, software not talking and configuring RGB every time I reboot. My wife's computer is this way.. when it reboots I have to go into it and take 5 minutes to configure everything the way she wants it on 3 different platforms.

Lian Li CLCs aren't the top choice, but it's not a big deal. I'd pick the Arctic 360mm Pro cooler. Most sellers on RAM are similar unless you find an exceptional OC chip that matches the price of another seller.

For any zen 5 processor, a low latency 6000 mhz cl30 is suggested. The manufacturer of the MLmanufacturer doesn't matter. Check the QVL list on the motherboard manufacturer's website to confirm compatibility.

When you mention the same RGB connectors on the MOBO, you're asking about what you mean. You want to know if it's about appearance or trying to get something close to it.
The link you shared is for a part that looks like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/rVXbt6.
You mentioned previous suggestions for MOBOs and asked for a simple explanation, like for a five-year-old. You're unsure about what features matter most—like Wi-Fi, slots, ports, or overclocking ability.
The 9800x3d seems too powerful to change much with overclocking, since the GPU would handle most tasks. You're wondering if it's better to skip an OC MOBO and focus on other important parts instead.

I chose the link for posting the build. Posting the build instead of the link might have been a mistake.
