Hi, I’m really interested in playing the Spiderman game, but it’s only available on PS4. Can I find a way to emulate it for PC? I don’t want to buy a PS4 and pay $60 for this game since it’s the only one I’d play. If there’s any chance to run it on PC, I’d love to know.

No, PS4 emulators aren't far off; they're just beginning to launch for the PS3. I'd consider buying a used PS4 instead. Last of Us and Uncharted 4 are excellent PS-exclusive titles.

Perhaps in a few years but right now it isn't.

Get yourself a used ps4. Some amazing exclusives. Horizon Zero Dawn, Last of Us, Uncharted.... all worth it!

It seems pretty sure that going through a few games for about 60 hours at 24-30 fps doesn’t justify the $500 price tag. Not yet. You’re not missing anything special. Actually, you can enjoy the same experience with either The Amazing Spiderman 2 or by modding GTA 5 to become Spiderman. Why? Because you can run those games at 4-6 times the frame rate in 1440p.

I’m not exaggerating. I’ve gone through every game mentioned here. In fact, you probably get less satisfaction from almost every PS4 exclusive since most people finish these titles in under a couple of months and then either sell their console or let it gather dust.

About 89% of PS4 owners play just 1-2 games, and those games are often not exclusives.

It might not interest you, but it could appeal to others, which is why they're referred to as opinions.
With that in mind,
In my view, visit a pawn shop and buy a used PS4 for a low price. Titles like God of War, Spiderman, The Last of Us (and soon The Last of Us 2), Uncharted, Bloodborne, plus a few other exclusives are all worthwhile investments.
Personally, I'm holding off on the PS5 until it releases, as I sold my PS4 long ago to manage my expenses during tougher times.

Others are only 1 out of 10 PS4 owners. As shown clearly below.
Even you fit into the 9 out of 10 people I mentioned earlier.
It might be worth it for a couple of months at most. The positive aspect is that now you can easily sell your used console for almost the same amount you spent. This suggests consoles are quite useful for renting for a short time. If you can manage around 24-30 frames per second, that’s fine. I definitely can’t. I struggle to keep my frame rate above 90, let alone 60. It’s hard to imagine ever limiting myself to such low performance. I’d just be complaining about the slow, laggy, choppy gameplay all the time.

Hey nice you cherry picked something I said to try to have it fit your agenda!
The PS4 would still be with me alongside my old gaming pc and xbox and tv if I didn't have to sell all of them. So trying to say that I fall into the 9 out of 10 people doesn't really help your argument, especially when all of the numbers you've stated are made up.
And no there is no conclusion, you're trying to push your opinions as facts when they are not.

You mentioned you still sold your PS4, which aligns with my perspective. Whether it's opinion or fact, it's clear the situation is different now. In truth, you don't own a PS4 anymore—it would just gather dust, not with its many exclusive hours. This lack of value is what truly matters. I'd appreciate hearing more from you to keep discussing, but I fear the mods will have to intervene if we keep adding unrelated points. Unless we expand the discussion to include emulating Spiderman, these arguments might be removed.

The same applies to any gaming platform. Individuals tend to focus on a few popular titles and only occasionally try something new.
