Hi there!
I have a new Enermax Liqmax II 120s and I'm trying to power the pump using the PSU. The issue is that the only available free plug on the PSU is the 4+4CPU, which already has SATA and peripherals connected (both SATA). Should I connect the Molex cable into the 4+4CPU port and power the pump from there, or should I remove a SATA port on the PSU and use the Molex connector instead? There are no free SATA slots, all five are occupied, so using a SATA-to-Molex converter isn't possible.

PSU model: Corsair CX500M

None of these temperatures are high enough to cause concern or require using the pump at full speed continuously and wearing it out unnecessarily!
In fact, a temperature of 38°C while gaming is quite comfortable. It doesn't matter which CPU is used.

No, you can't just connect one on these turns. One into four plugs http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Cable...vAodoXwDgA. Thanks for the reply! I just checked the voltage on the 4+4CPU and SATA/peripheral connectors. It seemed odd that the 4+4CPU connector came from the PSU itself with a MOBO connector (semi-modular) already connected. Both the "4+4CPU" and "SATA&Peripheral" connectors gave the same voltage (yellow=12v, 2x ground, 5V). I connected the Molex to the labeled "4+4CPU" port to power the pump, and everything works fine. When running the pump from MOBO PWM, I noticed a drop in idle from 19°C to 17°C and a rise to 32°C during gaming.
