Hi
I'm trying to overclock my AMD Athlon X4 860K.
I have an ASRock fm2 a88xpro3+ motherboard.
I'm a bit nervous about damaging the CPU or board.
My Noctua NH-D15 is running and I'm thinking about whether it's even worth it.
🙁
Could someone please confirm if overclocking is safe for my motherboard?
Also, any tips would be greatly appreciated.
First, gradually increase the CPU ratio bit by bit. Don't change the base clock.
Eventually, raise the voltage by about 0.1V.

the cpu is unlocked, indicating it allows OC, and your motherboard also supports this. If you're unsure about adjusting voltage or similar settings, your motherboard includes an A-Tuning feature that can handle the proper OC automatically.
