There are a few points I want to clarify. First, can I increase my CPU speed on this motherboard?

CPU model: I5 6600K 3.5GHz (Stock, aiming for around 3.8GHz)
I purchased this pre-built unit and I’m wondering if overclocking is possible.
A: There’s an option in the BIOS, but adjusting it doesn’t seem to help (see attached images).
B: Since it’s a Z170 chipset, I think overclocking should be feasible. The main issue is that modifying BIOS settings hasn’t made any impact when changing the overclocking options.
You can refer to the attached pictures for more details.
Another concern is whether doing this will affect my warranty.
Also, if it’s achievable, what would the process be? As I mentioned earlier, changes in the BIOS aren’t having the expected results.

It's possible HP intentionally turned off OC options on this device. They don't want customers to report issues only to discover the OC settings were misconfigured by someone less experienced.

Yes, it should save your settings when you exit BIOS.

It could be that HP intentionally turned off OC options on this device. They don’t want customers to report issues and then discover the settings were misconfigured by someone less experienced.
