My PC has 4GB of RAM and an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor at 4800+ 2.50 GHz. I'm curious if it's possible to overclock the integrated GPU safely. I've tried MSI AFTERburner, but it only boosts core clock and memory clock; I'm unsure what else to try. I don't play games that require high or medium performance, just low requirements, and I'd like a slight FPS improvement. Any suggestions? 😀

I know now after seeing that it has GMA, you won't feel any drop in performance. You can only purchase a GPU, but I think that's a waste of money. The performance boost is 1-2 FPS. You can buy the GT210 for a low price and you'll get really good performance with that CPU.

If you're able to boost performance in MSI, try downloading Unigen Valley and adjusting the core and memory clocks up to 10+Mhz until it stops working (test it multiple times). After the last failure at -10Mhz, stabilize it. If you hit the limit with both memory and core, focus on boosting core or memory again, or try increasing one until it crashes once more. This should be a straightforward process without risking damage.

Another possibility is to overclock in BIOS, but since you didn't share the motherboard model, I can't make an accurate guess.

Well if you can boost performance in MSI, try downloading unigen valley and raise core and memory clocks up to 10+Mhz until it stops working (so you increase core and memory for another test and repeat). After the last step at -10Mhz, that’s your stable point. If you hit the limit with memory and core, then focus on boosting core again or memory until it fails. It’s a straightforward process and should not harm anything.

Another way is to overclock in BIOS, but since I didn’t mention the motherboard model, I can’t be sure. You mentioned your board is a Biostar MCP6P-M2, which is helpful to know. As a beginner, keep learning but follow the advice carefully.

Can you start the BIOS by pressing Del key and then CTRL+F1, and I believe it will display hidden BIOS options?
Is it possible to capture bios images in Advanced Bios Features, Performance Booster Zone, advanced chipset features, and share them through IMBB?

Would you like to start up into BIOS by pressing Del key and Pressing CTRL+F1? I think it should reveal hidden bios.
Can you capture bios in advanced bios features, performance booster zone, advanced chipset features, and share them via IMBB?
Honestly, I’m too confused to figure it out.
