I am using an MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) motherboard and would like to boost my CPU performance. I plan to buy an i7-860 and get the best possible output from it. Here is the link to the motherboard: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c02014355

To achieve overclocking you'd require one of the boards mentioned in the previous discussion. The I7 860 operates at 2.8 GHz and can boost to 3.46 GHz without adjustments. OEM boards lack the capability to raise the bus frequency beyond 133 FSB, so you'd need higher MHz RAM which would then increase with the FSB speed. In contrast, the I3-530 ran at 200 FSB with 1600 MHz DDR3, while the I7 860 would likely use a 169 FSB at a reduced multiplier for either 1356MHz or 1693MHz RAM. The standard 1333 is a 10:1 ratio of 133 FSB.
