Can you give me links to good benchmarking software?
Can you give me links to good benchmarking software?
Hey there! I just wrapped up assembling a fresh build and everything is running smoothly. Looking for some solid benchmarking tools to check performance? I’ve got Cinebench R15, but I’m also interested in testing other parts like SSDs and HDDs. Any recommendations? Thanks!
AIDA 64 Extreme, Cinebench, Prime95, Memtest, HDDScan, MSI Afterburner, Precision X are popular tools for performance testing and diagnostics.
Software Comparison, not stress or stability tests. For the GPU use Valley Benchmark. CPU should be tested with Cinebench for all purposes – http://www.userbenchmark.com/ Crystal Disk Mark is suitable for HDDs and SSDs, and PCMark may also be effective.
I would run stress tests before marking the bench to verify stability, ensuring the benchmark delivers solid results. The purpose of benchmarking becomes unclear when the system isn't stable. Absolutely! I boosted my CPU to 5Ghz with 1.2v on air and will benchmark it now—my score is 25,000! Three minutes in, I started gaming. Loaded a battlefield map and it crashed.
He actually looked at the article. He didn’t claim he boosted speeds, he mentioned creating a fresh setup and planning to test its performance. Not that he boosted it and intends to test it again. Next time, check the next post.
You were suggesting the overclocking example, but your PC might be stock and unstable. Possible issues include hardware defects, incorrect cable connections, etc. Please gather more information before posting again.
