Was ich mir über die Sicherheit der Verwendung eines MSCI Mag A550BN nachdenken, den mein Bruder mir mitgebracht hat und der in diesem Aufbau liegt...
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zVWqZJ
(Die Einheit ist in einwandfreiem Zustand, fragt sich, ob 550 Watt ausreichen sollten)

I would examine a 650W model from the comparable lineup. The RX580 was quite power-intensive. If you're considering the RX580, it's best to skip that card in 2024.

I already have the RX 580, and others have said it should function well in this setup. I'm just checking what people are saying on the forums.

I don't see the point in limiting yourself to a 550W PSU in 2024. Not to mention that getting a better overall PSU is an investment in the the system. For $90 you can get a 750W SeaSonic Focux GX ATX 3.0 with is vastly better than the A550BN. The extra $30 is worth every penny.

Of course if I were purchasing, I would choose a 650 or 750 watt. But your answer doesn't address the issue raised in the discussion.

I would use it and not worry about it because you already have it.

Sorry, I didn't read the statement carefully. Generally, the MSI A550BN is categorized as a Tier-C or entry-level model. It should work fine, though it might be quite noisy compared to what you expect.

The maximum load stays below 550W. The RX580 consumes a lot of power during gaming, but at its peak gaming mode it's around 225W. The 12600k draws roughly 135W, making the total around 360W.
