Additional voltage is required; it's similar to providing more food for the horse to travel farther

MrPandaPasta suggests beginning with a lower target and keeping an eye on the CPU temperature. It's best to maintain it under 85 degrees, and a 3.8 GHz processor should work well. The exact limit will vary based on your specific CPU temperature setting. GL

You can also obtain AMD OverDrive and perform overclocking using that program. It includes a stability test you can execute following adjustments to the settings.

You can also use AMD OverDrive to perform overclocking through that program. It includes a stability test you can execute once you tweak the settings. I might be mistaken, but software OCing usually increases CPU power... The manual method tends to be more stable and enjoyable.

I tried it and it worked, but I'm still unsure. I keep facing the same issue where my PC needs several tries to boot after an OC. I upgraded to a 3.8Ghz processor and adjusted the voltage to +0.075V, but I'm not sure if that's correct. I just want to avoid multiple startup attempts.

I achieved stable performance on my FX 6300 at 4.1Ghz by tweaking the multiplier to 19.0, setting the voltage to 1.413 and HT to 216.5 in AMD Overdrive. Later, I returned it to the stock configuration (3.5Ghz) since I don’t require any overclock for my intended use.

MrPandaPasta shared their experience and concerns about repeated boot issues after an OC. They adjusted the voltage settings and are seeking advice on whether the current configuration is correct.

It isn't showing me the base voltage, probably because my MOBO isn't advanced enough for optimization. It only lets me adjust it by adding or removing small amounts in steps of 0.025.
