Hi everyone,
I just assembled my first PC and double-checked everything was placed correctly. When I tried to turn it on, only the MB LEDs lit up. I attempted a CMOS reset and other troubleshooting steps but didn’t see any improvement. I observed that the fans on the PSU weren’t spinning, which makes me think there might be an issue with the power supply or case.

Here are my specifications:
CPU: Intel Core i5-12600K 3.7 GHz 10-Core processor
Mb: Asus TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
Memory: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
CPU cooler: ID-COOLING SE-214-XT 68.2 CFM CPU Cooler
Storage: Kingston NV2 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD
Vc: Asus TUF GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB Graphics Cards
Case: Montech X3 Mesh ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 - TT Premium 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Here are the alternatives you explored:
- Disconnecting and reconnecting every wire leading to each part
- Starting with a single stick of RAM and using both sticks
- Reinstalling the components
- Ensuring the Display output is linked to the GPU, not the motherboard
- Inspecting all connections from the Power Supply’s side, since it’s a modular unit
You also asked about the specific LED on the motherboard, noting that it usually indicates something visible near or above the LED.
Refer to the Asus guide for detailed explanations and troubleshooting steps. If none work, consider swapping the PSU and testing again.
Good luck!

I’ve already tried everything you mentioned. I also checked to see if my Qled lights lit up but got nothing. Here’s what my build looks like . I took out my gpu to test other stuff.

I can't see clearly but that looks like the DRAM LED is lit. Could indicate faulty, incompatible or unseated memory, or a CPU problem.
Sorry, it's the BOOT light, not DRAM.
If the CPU LED is on, that means there is a CPU problem, obviously.
VGA LED tells you there is a display problem. This is unfortunately a tricky one to solve but mostly harmless.
The BOOT LED usually just means your PC hasn't booted any OS yet.
Try booting with only one stick of ram like zinkles suggested.
Also, follow Asus' advice and install ram in slots A2 and B2. Or only A2 if installing one stick.

I received identical outcomes too, and I’m unsure the Q-led lights didn’t activate.

It shouldn't matter for just turning on, but your DRAM is in the wrong slots.
What is connected to the left of your system panel headers? The manual indicates this should be a fan header, yet the plug doesn't seem correct—perhaps it's just a picture.
Have you attempted disconnecting everything except the power switch from the system panel connectors?
Did you try simply shorting the power connector to turn on and thus remove the case from consideration?
Was the motherboard accompanied by a system panel adapter so all components could be connected there, or should you try plugging everything into the motherboard instead? This might help narrow down the problem.

I realize I'm stuck.
It could be that a wire was connected incorrectly (which happens), or the PSU isn't supplying any power, or the motherboard or something on it is dead.
Try using a different PSU. If everything works, you've solved the problem. Then you can return the faulty one.

I attempted to short it and only got a tiny click. I purchased a PSU power tester, which is expected to arrive soon. I’ll keep you updated later and inform you about its condition.

The wiring for the front panel case is not visible in the picture you provided, according to section 2.1.8 of the motherboard manual.
