Why did you choose LGA 775? That platform has really been a challenge for me. You should boost the frequency for better performance. You might also want to increase VTT for higher overclocking. I'm from Southbridge, I just push it to the limit. Turn off spread spectrum that restricts audio. LGA 775 is where I feel confident, if you share more info I can assist you.

Set up Windows 7, but Windows 10 seems to struggle with a dual-core processor. That’s still okay.

This is crucial because many P43 and P45 models may be limited by memory speed; if you can't reach over 1000MHz, it's best not to push toward 500fps. You might want to choose an E7500 or E5800 instead, which operate efficiently at lower frequencies. Turn off speedstep and virtualization features. The Multi-step OC booster is likely an auto feature—avoid it. If you're adjusting PCI frequency, aim for 102-105MHz, unless you mean PCIe specifically; I’m not certain about that. The GTL settings influence CPU performance and number of GTLs; for a 45nm chip, the lowest GTL is preferable. RAM speed should stay around 2.4V or lower. Set the FSB/RAM ratio to its minimum setting—it will work best. You may need to research auto-disable options for DRAM and PCIe.

There seems to be an adjustment that automatically manages the voltages; you’ll need to switch it to manual mode. Your P5Q doesn’t support this feature, but your Gigabyte G31 includes voltage control options, which activate when set to auto by default. Changing it to manual will unlock those settings, though I’m not sure why this applies to a P43 board.
