Sure, you can replace the icon in the .bat file with the Chrome icon. After uploading it to Media Fire, the CMD prompt should appear repeatedly. At school, you may need to adjust settings or use a different method since changing system icons isn't allowed.

It seems like this might be a client-side issue. You could test it by right-clicking the Properties window and selecting Customize Tab, then changing the icon. It's unclear if that will resolve the problem.

You can adjust the icon of a shortcut by bundling it together. Save the .bat file and place it in a hidden folder on your desktop. Create a Chrome shortcut and update its path to 'C:\Users\USER\Desktop\HIDDENFOLDER\FILE.bat'.
