Can I push the CPU further? The components you have are suitable for overclocking.

No, your motherboard doesn't support overclocking the CPU even though it's compatible with OC. You should use a B350 or B450 motherboard. The GPU can still be overclocked separately.

Roland Of Gilead:
Your motherboard doesn't support overclocking the CPU, although the CPU itself can be overclocked. You'll need a B350 or B450 motherboard. The GPU could be overclocked separately, which wouldn't depend on the CPU. Thanks.

The CPU OC capability is determined by the motherboard features, not by the motherboard's OC settings. For the GPU, you can perform the OC independently. The motherboard itself doesn't affect this process.

It's feasible to boost an unlocked CPU on a locked motherboard using Throttlestop software, with the performance changes coming from within Windows. This method is discussed in the provided forum thread. Note that it may not apply to AMD CPUs, so checking the discussion could be helpful.

The A320 motherboards shouldn't be there.

Roland Of Gilead:
The motherboard features are what enable the CPU to OC. Not the mobile graphics card OC, and the GPU is handled separately. The mobile graphics card doesn't affect this. Thanks.
