Hey there! I noticed something you're wondering about—how different frequencies might impact gaming performance or cause frame drops. If you're using a 2400MHz and 2666MHz in your Acer Nitro 5, that's a bit unusual since those are standard RAM speeds. Just let me know if you'd like tips on optimizing your setup!

All your RAM will operate at the minimum speed. Therefore, a 2400Mhz DIMM and a 2666Mhz DIMM will both function at 2400Mhz.

I still use two separate 2x4GB Corsair DDR3 memory sticks in my system. One is 1600Mhz and the other is 1866Mhz; I run both at 1600 for safety. There have been no problems, and it helped me reach a total of 16GB after acquiring the 1600Mhz stick from my brother's old machine. At first, I also brought back the 660Ti from that PC, which really improved the overall performance between the two setups. As long as your RAM modules match your motherboard specs, you should be fine.

Could this be the cause behind sudden frame drops in games?
