You barely reach the required CPU requirements, since your dual-core processor with hyperthreading i7 is comparable to a desktop Haswell i3. Your 8690m graphics are roughly on par with a GT 730, but they’re not powerful enough to run GTA V at satisfying or even playable settings and frame rates. You’d need to use the lowest quality settings and resolution, and even then it might still have trouble.

I believe both titles are available on Steam, offering a few hours of trial before returning the item to receive a refund. GTA 4 should work well on that setup, and it will likely run more smoothly than version 5.

Agreed. Test the trials, as they will reveal most of what you require. If it feels too tough, refrain from purchasing the game.
