Razer comes back checking in! My accuracy matches others in my tier (playing OW), though honestly that's not true—I usually play Mercy and most Mercy players struggle with aiming! : D

I appreciate the Xbox 360 aesthetic, but for FPS titles I struggle a lot with controllers on keyboards. ...pew pew

You haven't used it much lately, but it's possible to adjust custom response curves in the Steam input settings for analog sticks, which could help you experiment.

I've switched to using one of my old PS4 controllers. They feel more natural compared to the 360 controller (which I used on two gaming PCs before it worked in Windows). The stick extensions didn't help much because they didn't improve the initial movement needed to counter the centering spring, which affected precision. This DS4Windows setup offers fine-tuned scaling for the analog sticks—starting slowly and gradually increasing as you move. I haven't tested it with Battlebit yet, so I'm unsure if it might be flagged as a cheat. Still, it should help with single-player games. Sometimes I just want to play HL2 mods with a controller.

Updates need to be applied for DS4Winsdows on Windows 11. Running Steam with a PS4 controller triggers unusual cursor behavior. Experimented with various controllers, but the issue persists after clearing settings in DS4Windows. Ffs.

I really like the PS controller setup, but for shooters the Xbox 360 controller offers better precision. Also, sorry, I didn’t mean to disappoint—this question is fully addressed, it’s not possible with just extensions. The Wolverine v2 and other options don’t cost around $200: Xbox Elite is almost perfect, the sticks can have distinct feel, which really helps with aiming. The main issue is the build quality is terrible; facebuttons are basically useless, so it might work occasionally, but honestly I wouldn’t recommend it because of the extremely poor construction. There are many cheaper alternatives, just find one that suits you (unfortunately). For the PS2: I actually have a brand new Xbox 360 controller that’s almost as good, which I could sell, but not for $200—way more! Spoiler: this isn’t an offer, just some random facts. Sorry about the Xbox Elite 2. Spoiler: it’s awesome, if the face buttons worked, it would be great. I’ve tried other controllers, they’re too soft and all sub-100, so I ended up with something close to original quality (Wolverine v2). Also, yes, I own a lot more controllers than you could imagine.

I placed an order for a Wolverine V2 yesterday. I prefer a wired controller rather than dealing with batteries, charging, or wireless problems. The DS4 and DS5 seem to be Bluetooth-related issues; they’d function briefly before becoming unresponsive. It’s frustrating trying to troubleshoot anymore. I’d rather play games than use VR simulations.
