Can the PC handle CS:GO at 300-400 FPS with low settings?
It's puzzling given the specs—modern screens can only handle 144Hz, so why not go higher? Also, the design seems quite inefficient, offering better performance at a lower cost.
You'd prefer that rate because it ensures smooth performance and a better viewing experience.
If you don't have a 300-400hz monitor there is no difference. If you have a 144hz monitor then aim for 144fps. If a 60hz one then go for 60. The monitor can only display so many fps as its refresh rate
More frames per second can reduce latency by improving responsiveness.
Opt for the R9 280 or newer models, such as R9 285/380. The CPU doesn’t appear to be unlocked.
