I had an older model (without the LED, probably) and it performed well... Maintained the chip temperature nicely. I'm not sure if it really made a big difference, but I added two fans for a push/pull setup on it. Kept my old fx 8350 cool with a low OC...

Pushing and pulling on the 212 doesn't improve its cooling performance, though it appears stylish.
