After adjusting the CPU boost settings, your CPU Z started lagging compared to the mouse, and game performance dropped. Using a different operating system resolved the issue, making games run smoothly. How can I clear all app-related changes so the system returns to normal performance?

Do you confirm if you carried out BCLK overclocking? That might not be ideal, especially based on your system. Are you using a backup operating system? Do you have a dual boot setup? If yes, which operating systems are installed and their versions? You might want to reinstall the OS causing the problem or remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard to reset all overclocks and return to factory settings.
