I have a removable laptop DVD drive which has a SATA 7+6 connector and is rated 5V 1.3A.
Can I use
this adapter
to power it ?
This is a USB 2.0 adapter.
My understanding is that if I plug both USB 2.0 cables to two USB 3.0 ports then I will have a max amperage of 0.9A+0.9A=1.8A .. therefore it can power the drive ?
