I’ve faced no issues, though older titles can be tricky (need disk 2 on drive D) even if it should fit on E—maybe mount one at a time? Besides that, there used to be an app for installing disks or ISO files. Don’t care about the name… I bet a quick Google search would find it (it’s free).
