Yes, you can turn on the XMP profile with the stock cooler. It won't be necessary to overclock the CPU since it handles that automatically. The stock cooler should suffice at the moment.

I’m planning to use an MSi B450 Tomahawk and noticed some issues with OC features like XMP, XFR, and Precision Boost. Might encounter problems? I won’t be doing any manual overclocking. Just let the Ryzen run as it is. Don’t worry, I know this might seem a bit confusing.
