Hey everyone,
I am trying to buy RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 (nostalgia purposes) and I want to buy it on Steam because G2A has it for pretty cheap as a Steam code. But, on the Steam page for Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, there is no actual option to buy the game, so I'm assuming they don't sell it anymore. So if I were to get a code off of G2A and redeem it using the Add a Game -> Activate a Product on Steam option, would it let me download the game?
Here's the link:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2700/..._Platinum/
Thanks!

I want to say yes, since you can also claim gifts that are no longer available. I recall Blur gifts being priced high due to their rarity and still being redeemable.

Absolutely. You're also protected by a money-back guarantee on G2A, and you can even claim games that aren't currently available on Steam. For instance, a game like Clive Barker's Jericho is accessible if you have the key, even though it hasn't been released on Steam yet.

Do you want to know why you find my comment amusing? I’m not sure if the RCT3 lawsuit will stop folks from claiming keys from G2A.

Steam codes don't have a time limit.
Prey 2006 has been taken away, but the physical versions still function.

Do you think I have a crush on you or just like seeing my posts? That's pretty weird.
