I'm planning to assemble an affordable PC for bioinformatics work. I'm considering the Ryzen 9 9900X with a motherboard and 32 GB RAM for a significantly reduced cost at Micro Center. I’m unsure about CPU cooling options. I was thinking of using an H5 flow case, but a chatbot suggested that a Noctua model like the NH-U12S Redux might not suffice under heavy loads. Is that accurate? If so, what would be a suitable budget-friendly 240 AIO and case combination without breaking the bank? I’d also appreciate some recommendations for effective air coolers.

You can use air cooling, but I wouldn't choose that option. I would pick this one instead. ChatGPT also suggests taking too many pills and driving fast, but I'm not going to say more. I’d also recommend a Thermalright cooler, though I favor the Phantom Spirit 120 EVO over the Royal Pretor. They’re quite similar in cooling power.

I also suggest the Thermalright 120 EVO coolers. I put one in my son's computer with a 5800X3D CPU and it's performing excellently. I purchased it from Amazon for $40, which is an excellent value.
