In short, I was thinking about swapping in a used Rx 5700 xt to swap out my GTX 1050 Ti. I’m unsure if my Corsair CX550 550W 80+ Bronze PSU can handle the load. My PSU has one 6+2 PCIe but it claims dual, meaning it’s technically two 6+2 PCIe units.
My current system specs are:
Gigabyte GA-A520M-DS3H0-AC
Ryzen 5 5500
Stock Cooler
Colorful Battle-Ax 2x8GB DDR4 3200Mhz
Kingston 240GB 2.5 SSD | WDC 1TB 3.5 HDD
Corsair CX550 550W 80+ Bronze
And the GTX 1050 Ti I plan to install.
I also have four case fans—three for intake and one for exhaust.
For reference, here are the PSU details:

It works with the 5700xt on your system. It's not an excellent power supply, but I plan to upgrade soon to a more modern and dependable one.

Sure, I can run it stock and not optimize it. I don't need to optimize it because my CPU isn't that strong.

Your CPU shouldn't be limiting performance with that GPU, so it should perform well. I own a 5500 with a 6800x8 and it works surprisingly. But the PSU should support the 5700x8 if you manage to find a used 6600x8—similar speed or better, and with less power, all at roughly the same cost as the 5700x8.

The specifications indicate that some cables are fixed while others are modular.

They're confirmed yes. That's why I mentioned it has x1 6+2 pins PCIe, but it states dual (daisy chained), which technically makes it x2.

That's what I was planning to do. Initially, I considered a used RX 2060 Super, but later found an RX 5700 XT available at a discounted price.
