can i overclock my gpu?
i'm just starting with this overclocking process and need some guidance. i want to make sure my gpu is compatible before adding any clock speeds. the model i have is the gtx 750 ti with 2gb of ram. if it's possible, i'm unsure how much i should increase its clock frequency.
In theory, every modern GPU can be overclocked, but in reality it depends a lot not just on the model but also on the specific unit. This is why the link mentioned a Zotac with just one fan—likely it won’t improve performance beyond what’s already there.

To note, what he means is that those with less cooling are not usually advised to use it often. You can use it all day, but better cooling is beneficial.
the 7 series requires boost, so simply install afterburner, remove power/temp sliders and set them to max.
card will now synchronize to (almost) the maximum allowed clocks for the chip (within Nv limits) without issues...
dl afterburner and install without RTSS stat server.
reboot and adjust settings to use the default v3 skin.
remove the power/temp sliders, assign priority to temps, then click apply.
set both sliders to their max values, and the card will synchronize to the highest possible (within Nv limits).hit apply.
save your changes in one of the profiles on the left side.
if you prefer, afterburner should not start automatically with Windows and should not apply oc by default.
the card will still update to lower settings when not gaming...
do NOT add voltage, as the cards will only exceed stock V by a minimal amount.
