Hey Guys,
I'm planning to overclock my CPU and found online that it's possible to reach 5GHz with the i7-9700k.
Here’s what my setup looks like:
Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PLUS
CPU: i7-9700k + Corsair water cooling
RAM: 16GB DDR4
GPU: MSI 3080
Monitors: 1 24" 1440p, 1 21" 1080p
Storage: 2 SSDs, 1 HDD
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNova G1 750w PSU - https://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-SuperNOVA-...B0797HL9Z4
I’m only focusing on CPU overclocking, not modifying the 3080 yet. I’m unsure if my PSU can handle this or if I should replace it first.

It's fine, you're all set, I'd suggest Intel's Extreme tuning tool. It's an automatic OC utility that works well, particularly for beginners, and remains useful even for experienced users.

Missed the mention of your motherboard, which is actually the key factor in overclocking an Intel chip. It should be a Z-series board, and the power supply is solid and more than sufficient for the tasks involved.

Sure, I'll check if my mobile has that and try it out, thanks.
