Hey, I'm really curious if I can try to Overclock my Dual Xeon X5472s up to around 3.6 GHz. It came from a Dell Precision T7400 that someone else gave me. I just put in a STRIX 1050 Ti and an MSI 1030. I think the Power Supply is either 980 or 1000 watts. Thanks so much, P.S. The base clock for the X5472 starts at 3 GHz.

Look at how to turn off your power supply with this throttle stop, plus all the good talks happening here on the techpowerup site: https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threa...pcs.235975

Lots of online groups talk about tweaking your T7400 processor. You should just check Google for that info instead.

Do you want to connect me with a little bit of something? I'd really appreciate that.

The T7400 is really what you need because I don't own a machine like that, so I can't tell if those claims are true or false. But if you have two Xeon processors, don't try to push them too hard. They get hurt easily when people overclock them.

Okay so I've managed to do a bit of overclocking by using SetFSB, but whenever I hit over 3.2GHz I get a bluescreen, and I think what I really need now is some way to boost my CPU voltage. Dell Precision BIOS settings are just info only so I'll need a way to unlock them. Anything would help out. Thanks in advance.
