If you undervolted your rig, could you share the exact settings and software that lowered my GPU and CPU speed so I can get better FPS or a smoother game experience for gaming? Thanks. I'm using a similar model right now! To lower the voltage, ThrottleStop works well for my CPU and MSI Afterburner for my GPU. On the CPU, I set the offset to about -125mV, but things can change, so keep testing for stability. For the GPU, I used the voltage/frequency curve editor in Afterburner. Remember that every chip is different, so results might vary.

In ThrottleStop, you usually want to tweak the offset voltage in the "FIVR" section. Start with -100mV for both your CPU Core and Cache, then slowly bump up the value in steps of -5mV or -10mV while checking if things stay stable. In MSI Afterburner, you'll go to the voltage/frequency curve editor here. Just lower those points on the graph to cut down the voltage without changing the frequency. I'm just tweaking the game and battery settings. I changed the CPU Core and Cache to have tighter limits (Game turbo at 24, Battery turbo at 22). When do I stop messing with those offsets on the battery and game parts? I only keep adjusting until testing fails in TSBench. It's normal because no offset voltage was showing up before either. Even after I adjusted it, there was still no voltage shown in the graph.
You usually want to change the offset voltage when you start having problems or errors during your TSBench tests. As for why the offset voltage isn't showing up on the chart, there could be a few reasons. Maybe the tool you're using can't display it correctly at all. You might try updating it or switching to another one. Lastly, regarding the game and battery parts, these aren't usually important to tweak unless you're trying to improve performance for those specific things. If you just want to play games, you probably don't need to worry as much about the battery section.
okay okay i finally got here at a voltage of -130 for now. I reset the battery section and turned off the adjustable offset in that part so now I only focus on the games. Do i need to change the turbo ratio limits in the game section or should i leave it as is? question: what do i have to do in tpl besides the FIVR? here is a link to the file i shared https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RHQRGgU...sp=sharing update number one: i set my offset voltage to -125 and that's it, i think this is where the sweet spot is for my system. anytime else i tried setting it up, it froze right away in a minute. update two: normally when i ts bench the cpu gets hot even though i undervolted the games down to -125 on cache and core, it just felt like nothing changed at all.
The TPL settings aren't really important for gaming, so you probably don't need to change them much. For the turbo ratio limits in the game section, keeping them at default is usually fine unless you're trying to push performance hard or have problems with heat. Your TS Bench temps hitting around 96 degrees might look high, but it could just be because of how your system cools down and what the CPU is doing while running the test. If those temperatures stay that way even under normal conditions, maybe you should check if your cooling setup needs some work to get them lower.
