Hey everyone! I hope this thread is in the right spot. Here is a question about working from home and organizing cables. My current setup looks like this: 1 an old computer with just one HDMI port on the motherboard but no dedicated graphics card 1 a new PC that has two DisplayPorts and one HDMI port 1 a HP Pavilion laptop (model 15-eh2153ng) that only uses a 3.5mm power plug right now but can also charge via USB-C 1 a Lenovo Thinkpad that already uses a USB-C adapter 1 a monitor set to 2440p with DisplayPort support 1 an older 1080p monitor that needs HDMI input 1 a printer 1 a mouse 1 and a keyboard. So here is my question: How can I link everything up so I can switch between computers but keep all my extra gear connected to each one? Also, since I'm using my current adapter for the HP laptop now, should I just swap it out with any random USB-C power brick without checking compatibility? I already use a USB-C charger on my work Lenovo Thinkpad. At home, I plug that Thinkpad into an adapter and then connect a docking station or hub. Can I simply run the same charger from home onto the HP laptop instead of swapping cords to avoid damaging anything? What is the best way to tie all these devices together for easier multitasking? Thanks so much!

You can use one mouse to control four PCs without needing borders. You just have to connect them all with the same keyboard and mouse. Then you can move files from one PC to another easily. If your printer has a network connection, or if it has a USB port that connects to the router, then you are good. You still need separate screens and power supplies for each computer since they are not connected together.
