Can I get Hotmail to work on Firefox?
Can I get Hotmail to work on Firefox?
Hey. There are some weird problems in version 11. For example, you can't delete Edge app. Also, when I log into Steam, all my collections disappear. So now I have to start over and spend hours copying things from my old PC again. I don't even know if it would work the same way if I went back to 10. I can't open Hotmail in Firefox using DuckDuckGo or just Firefox. The screen is completely white. I tried every single thing I could think of, but it works fine on my old PC with the same search engine. I even tried Edge and it opened okay from the bottom task bar, but not when you try to start it directly from the browser. Anyone can tell me about this problem? This is the first time I'm using version 11. I am seriously thinking of deleting everything and starting fresh with version 10. I really appreciate any help.
I suggest copying your important files to safety, then either resetting 10 or 11 completely. Instead of sticking with regular Windows, go ahead and pick Tiny10/Tiny11 or Revision OS 10/11 because they are much better for me. I actually use the Revision version of Windows 11, and it runs smoothly every single day. Even when I need to customize things, I use a Start menu shortcut called StartAllBack. For my browser, I only ever use Firefox; if you have to use Edge or any other Chromium-based option, then maybe that's okay for you.
I recommend backing up all your important stuff and installing either version 10 or 11 in clean mode. However, I suggest using Tiny10/Tiny11 or Revision OS 10/11 instead of normal Windows. I personally use the Revision version of Windows 11 because everything works great for me right now. I even change my start menu and taskbar with a program called StartAllBack. I only use Firefox as my browser, but Edge is the only other choice when Chromium needs to be used for something special.
Qwerky Pengwen Thanks a lot for helping me out! I never knew about Tiny10 before, but I am now looking at that and your other choices too. Your reply really helped me decide what to do next. I will change how my files look in Win10 and put 10 instead of 11 there because 11 feels a lot more frustrating. It takes so much effort from you to make things work like this, even with the classic shell version. It's kind of annoying, but since I am already used to Windows 10, at least I will feel better and know how my computer works now. Thanks a bunch for your help! 👍 PS. I would mark you as answered. But usually there isn't that little checkmark on the right side of the post.
When you made a new post, there was a choice: talk about something or ask a specific question. But that old spot just sits there, ready for more comments without any upvotes or clear answers. So, I switched it over so now it's just clearly labeled as a question.
Haha, that's why I couldn't do this before. Thanks a lot bignastyid, I'm gonna remember to check this site in the future because it's super cool. And QwerkyPengwen's reply was just super helpful too. All replies are great right there! So now I am marking this as answered. I thank you so much bignastyid again. Your help is really needed and appreciated.
