I have an Aspire 5 a515-51G Laptop, and the power button has stopped working recently. I am pretty sure it's just the button itself since everything worked fine before until now. Before that, you had to press the power button in a specific way along with several other keys that also seemed to stop working at some point. Any advice or help on how to get the laptop turning back on, or figuring out what's wrong and how to fix it would be really appreciated.

Acers have been known for having keyboards that won't work anymore. The best way to try is to follow what's written in the manual (take the laptop out of the wall socket and press a paperclip straight against the tiny hole under the keyboard for 10 seconds). If that doesn't fix it, buying a new keyboard is usually the next step--they are special to each model but aren't too expensive. There are many ways to wake up a sleeping laptop without pressing the power button, but most of them need you to set things up in BIOS or Windows first.
