Can I charge my laptop using a USB-C plug?
I own an HP laptop. It has a USB-C port. I'm not sure if that USB-C port lets me charge through USB-C. I tried using a 20W adapter and a 35W adapter. If I can't charge by connecting to the USB C, is there a way someone could plug it into something else without taking out the whole motherboard? Here are the specs from HP's website. Specs
I see the link for the specs. It looks like your laptop's USB-C port can't charge at least that page says so. Here are some details about this specific HP laptop: HP 15-dy4000cy 15.6 inch HD Laptop, Intel i5-1155G7 with a 2.50 GHz processor, 12 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD running Windows 11 Home - this one is certified as refurbished.
