Hey everyone! I was wondering if it's possible to overclock the FX 6300 to 4.2 or even higher.
My system has these specs:
FX 6300 stock (turbo core on), MSI 970 GAMING, GTX 960 G1 GAMING 4GB, CoolerMaster hyper 212 evo, 2x4 GB VENGEANCE 1600MHz, 1TB THOSHIBA HDD 7200rpm, THERMALTAKE SMART SE 530w Semi Modular.
I have the PSU link: http://www.thermaltake.com/products-mode...C_00001964
My CPU runs at 1.25 VCORE.
If anyone has any advice, please let me know!
Sorry for my bad English.

Each chip is unique, requiring thorough research and extensive testing. There isn't one universal solution.

What GPU do you have?
I didn't mention it clearly.
My GPU is GTX 960 G1 Gaming with 4GB VRAM.

A slight amount of overclocking should work well on that board with the EVO.

Every chip is different , have to research and then a lot of trial and error. There is no single formula that works.
